Codman Academy Charter Public School is an Expeditionary Learning (EL) School that offers students a comprehensive, college preparatory high school education in Codman Square, Dorchester. 100% of Codman
Academy graduates have been accepted to college, and 73% are currently enrolled in (or have completed) higher education. For more about EL Schools, read more in English or espaƱol.
As a Massachusetts charter public school, Codman Academy Charter Public School is open to all Massachusetts residents (with priority given to Boston residents). Codman Academy does not charge admission fees. Interested students/parents should complete an application prior to the March 1st, 2012 deadline. Students are admitted based on a random lottery held on March 14th, 2012. Codman Academy currently admits students entering 9th grade only. Students must have successfully completed eighth grade to enroll in the school. Siblings of accepted students have preference in the lottery.
