Description:Great chance to learn Development! Administrative Assistant - Right hand person to the Executive Director and Director of Development of a nationally recognized charter public high school located in Dorchester section of Boston, the Admin Assistant will * Oversee logistics of communications with board members; maintain board archives; * Coordinate MA Department of Education filings and maintain internal records; * Assist in maintenance of the school's website and intranet site; *Design, send out monthly newsletters and other donor communications and track response; * Maintain publicity archives; *Maintain donor prospect data base * Maintain inventory of publicity packets, dvds for distribution to donors, students and parents * Coordinate annual fund mailing and assist in donor event preparation and logistics
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have: * knowledge of Microsoft Office, website design/list serves, database software * excellent multi-tasking and writing skills *enjoy working in a fast paced, flexible environment Work study funded position only.

Description:Work study position. Serve as part-time librarian for small charter school on red line. Flexible hours. Summer and/or school year.
Qualifications:Enjoys working with urban students. Experience as librarian. Technology savvy including use of Follett software preferred. Description:Ideal position for recent college graduate interested in exploring the field of urban education, particularly special education. Responsible for supporting instruction in Math, Science and/or Humanities for students both in the classroom and one-on-one, as well as other school-wide supports. $19,000 stipend, plus 100% health insurance.

Position::Technical Support Specialist

Description:We seek a capable, dedicated person to support the use of networked informational, educational and communication technologies at the School. Duties: - support, troubleshoot and maintain a combined wired and wireless network linking roughly 60 machines, both OS X and Windows-based, located in two buildings. - administer a central OS X Server on this network providing student and staff accounts and storage - research and recommend purchases of educational, informational and communication technologies in response to identified needs within the School - assist in developing and implementing long-range technology plans, including plans for a new school building - cheerfully provide 'help-desk' as well as 'in-class' technology support to teachers and students - work closely with teachers and staff to continually optimize the use of technology at the School
Qualifications:- Good hands-on technical background, preferably at least a bachelor's degree in computer science or system administration, and experience in supporting networked computers and servers; wireless network experience a plus - Good interpersonal skills: ability to work well with a variety of people, including boisterous or sullen teenagers (as well as thoughtful, friendly ones) - Experience in using and supporting both Mac and Windows platforms and common office applications - Ability to devise systems that maintain an orderly use of essentially transparent technology in a highly-flexible and changeable environment - Willingness and ability to work as a team member with other talented professionals in creating the best possible college-bound educational experience for students from one of the poorest neighborhoods in Boston
